Subject Examiners/Moderators and Assistant Examiners

The Association of Business Executives (ABE) is proud to announce that its programmes for Business Management, Human Resource Management, Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Management, and Marketing Management have all been accepted for entry to the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) – the new qualifications framework in the UK – which supersedes the current National Qualifications Framework (NQF).

The QCF is the new way of recognising achievement through the award of credit for units and qualifications. Credit is awarded for completion of a unit (the smallest component of a qualification), with credits combined to make qualifications. The rules of combination then state the credits that can be combined to complete the qualification.

Entry to the QCF signifies acceptance by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual), that the qualifications are of high standard and make a significant contribution to educational and vocational needs.

ABE will be examining in the QCF Framework for the first time in the DECEMBER 2011 and is looking for experienced professionals to join our existing teams of Subject Examiners, Subject Moderators and Assistant Examiners. Suitable applicants are often teachers, lecturers and trainers with appropriate qualifications and/or experience of the QCF Framework.

Invigilators

ABE’s examinations are held in June and December of each year and we are always looking to recruit confident, reliable and highly organised invigilators.
