Students without a first or second class honour degree would also be required to pass two courses before they could formally enrol on to the Masters programme.

Eligibility for entry is to the self study programme. Students wishing to study on-campus in Edinburgh may be required to meet additional entry requirements and information regarding these can be obtained by contacting the Business School.

ABE Advanced Diploma in Business Management holders are also eligible for entry onto the MSc Human Resource Management programme of the Edinburgh Business School and will be granted an exemption from the core course 'Organisational Behaviour', based on the successful completion of the ABE course 'Managing Operations'. Students who have completed the optional unit 'Strategic Human Resource Management for Business Organisations' will also be exempt from the core course 'Human Resource Management'. Students without a first or second class honours degrees, who have been awarded both exemptions, would also be required to pass one core course before they could formally enroll onto this programme. Students who have been awarded just one exemption would be required to pass two core courses.

Holders of the ABE Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management are eligible exemption from certain courses in the EBS portfolio. If pursuing the EBS:

MSc Human Resource Management Programme –Exemption will be granted from the core courses 'Managing People in Changing Contexts' and 'Human Resource Management' on the basis of successful completion of the ABE courses 'Managing in Organisations' and 'Strategic Human Resource Management for Business Organisations'.
