Benefits of Accreditation
By becoming an accredited centre, a college benefits from:
- Approval to deliver ABE's prestigious programmes
- Study guides for many units of our programmes. These manuals, each around 200/300 pages per subject, were specifically written for ABE programmes. These are valuable study materials, as in many parts of the world textbooks are expensive and often difficult to obtain. Travel, Tourism and Hospitality study guides are available free and can be emailed to colleges
- Lecture Guides for all subjects in the four programmes to assist college lecturers when teaching students
- Subjects in more than one ABE programmes make them very cost-effective to run
- Website listing providing contact information for students
- University recognition of ABE's programmes gives added value to the qualifications
- Vital information on any changes to the syllabus or examinations
- Regular details of the current activities of The Association
- Publicity material, including posters and leaflets, and an Accreditation Certificate
ABE colleges receive and can also advertise in Student Focus, the ABE's quarterly publication sent to all student members, fellows and associates of ABE.
Please note that once accredited, the establishment can reproduce the Study Manuals and distribute them to students, either free or at price not exceeding that charged by ABE to students (for copyright reasons, Study Manuals must not be sold or distributed outside college membership).
