The Association of Business Executives is proud to announce that its programmes for Business Management, Human Resource Management, Travel Tourism and Hospitality Management, and Marketing Management have all been accepted for entry to the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) – the new qualifications framework of the UK - which supersedes the current National Qualifications Framework (NQF) in 2011. Entry to the QCF signifies acceptance by the UK national regulator, Ofqual, that the qualifications are of high standard and make a significant contribution to educational and vocational needs. Therefore students can be assured that their learning is up to date and their qualification maintains its international recognition.
Students will, as from the December 2011 examinations, receive credits on their qualifications, in addition to grades, where they have passed a QCF unit. These credits will be of assistance to students when they are applying to university, as universities may now begin to make offers using the credit system. Credits may also be sought by employers, educational funders or regulatory bodies as part of their requirements and therefore students will benefit from the appearance of credits on their certificate.
