Students who do not qualify for a particular level of examination will be refused admission to that level even if they have already started on a college course.
Registering with ABE could not be simpler. You only register once with us and so long as you keep your membership up-to-date, you remain a current member. Existing students who have been issued with an ABE membership number must not register again, but may be required to re-register (click here to go straight to re-registration).
ABE has a network of over 400 accredited colleges, so you are sure to find one close to you. We also welcome students who prefer to follow our programmes by self-study. Students who choose to study for the Level 7 Diploma in Business Management independently of an ABE accredited college, should read the detailed guidance in the Level 7 Diploma section. Please click here to go to the Level 7 Diploma page.
Before you start the registration process you should have an idea of the programme and level you wish to follow. As our programmes are offered at various academic levels, acceptance onto the Level 5, 6 or 7 Diploma will be based on your previous educational qualifications or work experience. Click here for information about entry requirements and exemptions.
Students enrolling with colleges are advised to ensure that the college has been formally accredited by ABE before enrolment. Click here to search for an accredited college.
Students wishing to register with ABE should complete the relevant registration form and submit it along with appropriate fees, copies of educational qualifications (in English) and details of relevant working experience where necessary.
Registration can take place at any time. However, if you wish to sit for a specific examination session, the following deadlines apply:
For the June examinations - register by the first Friday in March (1st March 2013).
|
The registration deadline has been extended until the 22nd of March for new students wishing to sit their exams in June 2013. All new students should submit their examination entry forms and fees at the same time as their registration applications. |
For the December examinations - register by the first Friday in September (6th September 2013)
Students should be aware of the closing dates for registration and examinations as these are strictly adhered to. Please click here for dates.
As soon as your registration has been processed successfully, you will receive your student welcome pack, which contains all the information about your ABE membership (including your membership card) and a detailed syllabus. Please allow at least 2 weeks to receive your welcome pack within the UK and up to 6 weeks if overseas, but note that it may take longer during busy periods prior to exams.

Re-registrationIf you have previously registered with ABE and have been issued with a membership number, you must not register again. Even if you intend to take up a new programme, you must still continue with your existing membership. Please send an email to registration@abeuk.com to enquire about your membership status and how to resume your association with ABE. Students who are aware that their membership has lapsed and wish to submit their application for re-registration can click here for a Re-Registration form. |
