Our offer is centred on education and economic empowerment.  We specialise in entrepreneurship, employability, quality assurance and business qualifications. Within our technical focus, we provide high-quality and inclusive services on a national, regional and global level to empower children and adults, and to promote economic growth, prosperity and stability.  We are trusted by governments, donors, local communities and UN organisations. In addition to our capability to work as an international partner, we work as an in-country partner, due to our understanding of localisation and the role of national expertise on sustainable development.

Research and market intelligence 

We conduct in-depth contextual analysis to identify gaps and strengths in an education system and labour market, providing evidence-based solutions to inform policy and assure high-quality programming. We use innovative participatory research methods to ensure high-quality research within all contexts including fragile and conflict zones.

Programme Design & Capacity building (ready and customised materials):

From school age to adult learners, we have a range of 'off the shelf' courses and qualifications that are proven to develop the skills needed to reduce poverty, inequality, and improve economic prosperity. We develop high-quality user-friendly teaching resources which ensure that delivery providers have the support they need to be able to deliver effective education and training. Our experts develop our qualifications to be accessible and effective for different groups including young students, entrepreneurs, business employees, public and private sector workers and others. Our courses include business management, employability skills, start-up and entrepreneurship and related subjects. Over the years we reached around 1.5-million people globally, 60% of them women.

Customised learning pathways 

We design programmes to address specific skills-needs within different contexts and map to local socio-economic priorities. We are experienced in working in challenging settings and pay attention to issues around delivery, resources, connectivity and environmental challenge. We develop and deliver programmes that contribute to financial inclusion and women’s economic empowerment, and we have successfully provided innovative national training programmes to support the work of UN organisations in Sub-Saharan Africa. These programmes raise knowledge about employment and entrepreneurship within young generations. Our strong background in managing qualifications as a regulated examination body means that we are highly experienced in developing robust, reliable and appropriate assessments to ensure desired outcomes are met.

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEAL)

We support donors, governments and international organisations to measure development effectiveness and progress in our programmes, as well as challenges making changes when needed.  We design and implement a robust, flexible and participatory MEAL approach. Our experience helps us to identify the most effective and efficient qualitative and quantitative indicators to monitor projects and programmes at different levels with different stakeholders, including multi-year programmes. We conduct impact assessments to identify the best learning practice and inform knowledge within the sector. Our geographical reach and in-country expertise ensures value for money. We have developed a MEAL system to measure the impact of skills training and entrepreneurship on economic growth. With our partners, we use innovation to ensure real-time data management and have high standards for the safeguarding and confidentiality of data.

Quality assurance practices / Aligning skills to international standards 

Our quality assurance service ensures programmes are consistently delivered to the highest quality standards, lead to valuable outcomes and use reliable assessment methods.  We develop competencies which meet, and are benchmarked against, international standards.  Stakeholders trust us in their work to achieve a recognised level of skill and attainment. Our quality approach starts by a market assessment to identify best training partners, then we develop training materials which ensure inclusion and sustainability.  Next, we assess our training partners capability in order to provide capacity building and guidance materials which ensure high quality delivery and sustainability.
