Update to rules surrounding principles of certification

Under the new syllabus learners were previously prohibited from gaining more than one certificate per level. Upon review,  we are pleased to annouce the decision has been made to allow learners to up-skill their level qualifications, allowing learners to sit additional elective modules to achieve a further level certificate on a different pathway.

Learners can now up-skill their professional Diploma portfolio by adding one or two additional subject specialist units (depending on the level).

Any learner that has studied an ABE Diploma at level 4, 5 or 6 on the New 2017 RQF Qualifications Framework, and completed all the mandatory units plus a block of additional/optional units can up-skill easily without having to repeat their learning.

Please click on the buttons below for examples relating to each level and to download the additional level qualification form:

The additional level qualification form is also available for download from the forms and policies section of the portal.
