Karabo Kahure, Botswana – Top Paper Award in Introduction to Travel, Tourism and Hospitality studied at Byte Size College of Computer & Business Studies
I am twenty-seven years old. I was raised by my mother and have one sister. I used to work as a waiter in a Cresta Hotel called Cumberland.
I chose to study ABE because of quality courses they supply and the Association is well recognised.
The public has an impression that ABE is developing Botswana's economy as students who finish their studies take an initiative to start businesses leading to diversity of the country's wealth. Employers can send their employees to study further so that they can develop their field of work for the organisation to run effectively.
My immediate plan is to continue my studies and like that ABE has a website with study manuals and revision papers one can use anytime.
I will gain a certificate which will open gates for me to achieve my dream in becoming an entrepreneur in tourism industry. My long term career plan is to run my own hotel or a lodge.
