Notice of withdrawal
The ABE NQF suite is being discontinued from the end of 2017.
No new learners are being accepted onto the programme after 3 March 2017 and the final exam session is December 2017.
This announcement is because changes to the regulation of qualifications in the UK mean all ABE's programmes must be moved to the new UK regulatory framework (the RQF) by 2018. In addition, over the last twelve months, ABE has undertaken an extensive review of its portfolio to ensure our qualifications continue to provide the all the skills needed for decades to come. This has resulted in strong investment in our core Business Management programmes which will offer even greater benefits to learners in Botswana;
These flexible business qualifications are designed to help you progress confidently onto the next academic level or into an entry level business role.
What is the difference between NQF and QCF?
NQF and QCF are two alternative frameworks used by the UK's qualifications regulator Ofqual. In general ABE offers QCF qualifications, however the NQF Certificate is particularly popular and known in Botswana which is why it is available exclusively here. Once you have complete your NQF Certificate you can go on to the standard ABE qualifications at Level 5.
