Notice of withdrawal
The ABE Level 7 Diploma in Business Management - is being withdrawn from the end of 2017.
No new learners are being accepted onto the programme and the final exam / assignment session is December 2017.
Over the last twelve months, ABE has undertaken an extensive review of its portfolio to ensure our qualifications continue to equip learners with skills to excel in a business environment for decades to come. One of the outcomes of the review is that our new framework is being designed to offer learners direct progression from Level 6 onto a Masters degree and this, coupled with the replacement of the Ofqual QCF framework at the end of 2017, meaning the qualification will expire, has resulted in the withdrawal of Level 7 as demand is limited. This will enable us to invest in greater resources for our core business programmes which we believe will provide all the skills learners need to excel in management and will also provide very favourable university progression opportunities.
This qualification develops an in-depth strategic understanding of high level management theory and practice. It will help equip you to find employment with senior management prospects.
In addition to those who have worked up through the ABE levels, this programme is popular with working senior executives who wish to enhance their managerial skill set. Many Level 7 qualification holders go on to top up with an MBA, MSc or MA degree
A flexible programme ideal for the busy business professional
Four of this qualification's five units are assessed by assignment. You can access the four units’ assignment briefs as soon as you are registered and can log in to the Members Area.
Completed assignments are submitted to ABE for assessment which can be done at any time as long as your membership is up to date. This allows you to take as much or as little time as you wish. For more information about the assignment support materials please read our useful blog: https://www.abeuk.com/blog/guide-abe-level-7-diploma-business-management-qcf-assignment-support-materials
Exams take place twice a year in June and December. You can book the exam session as decided between yourself and your college. Again, ABE make no stipulation at what stage after registration you need to sit the exam.
