What is the qualification up-skill offer?

Under the new syllabus learners were previously prohibited from gaining more than one certificate per level. Upon review, the decision has been made to allow learners to “up-skill” their level qualifications, allowing learners to sit additional elective modules to achieve a further level certificate on a different pathway. For example, a learner who has successfully completed Level 5 Business Management could choose an additional two optional units from Level 5 Business Management & Human Resources to gain an additional L5 certificate.

Restrictions to this include:

Learners must have completed the initial pathway certification to then utilise the “up-skill” option.

This up-skill service is only available on a pathway parallel to the completed certification

Only one up-skill is available at a time, i.e. learners cannot sit simultaneously the elective modules for Human Resources and Marketing
