Register with ABE Qualifications and keep your membership up-to-date to access all the resources and benefits available to our members.

You can register with ABE for the first time online or via post or email.

Please note, if you have already been issued with an ABE membership number you should not register again, but you may be required to re-register if your membership has expired. Click here if you wish to go straight to re-registration information.

1 - Online registration 

(Botswana students: please click here to go to the post/email form we regret online registration is not currently possible)

To book online simply tick the box to confirm you are happy with our privacy statement and terms and conditions and then click 'submit' which will take you to the online registration and payment form.

  • You will need a valid email address to complete this application.
  • You must send us the required evidence of educational qualifications or details of relevant working experience to support your chosen level of entry.
  • If you are unsure if you qualify for a particular level of study, please contact us for an assessment of your qualifications before proceeding.

If you wish to register for the Level 3 Certificate in Business Start-Up qualification, please do so through an ABE accredited centre.

NB. If you are declined entry onto a particular level of qualification, you will be given the option to either register for another level or to request a refund. Where a refund is requested an administration charge of £10 will be imposed. Click here to go to our entry guideline page.

What happens next

As soon as your registration has been processed successfully, you will receive an email confirming your Learner ID number and your password so you can access the ABE Members Area.

When to register

Registration can take place at any time. However, you have to be registered with ABE in order to sit our exams so if you wish to sit for a specific examination session, the following deadlines apply:

For June examinations register by the first Friday in March.

For December examinations register by the first Friday in September.

Study options & registration guidance

ABE has a large international network accredited study centres (colleges), so you are likely to find one close to you. We also welcome those who wish to follow our programmes by self-study. If you choose to self-study for the Level 7 Diploma in Business Management please read the detailed guidance in the Members Area once you have joined.

Before you start the registration process decide on the programme and level you wish to study. As our programmes are offered at various academic levels, acceptance onto a particular qualification will be based on your previous educational qualifications or work experience.Click here to go to our entry guidelines page.

If you are enrolling with a college you are advised to ensure that the college has been formally accredited by ABE. Click here to search for an accredited college.

Re-registration

If you have previously registered with ABE and have a membership number, but your membership has lapsed (ie you cannot get into the Members Area) you must re-register using this form:
