''I am from the rural community of Mayaro in Trinidad. I am the mother of a brilliant five-year-old boy and part of a large extended family. I am a past pupil of Mayaro Government School, Rio Claro High School and Princes Town West Secondary School. I have been employed at the National Energy Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago for almost eight years.
I chose to study with ABE because of its internationally recognised qualifications and its strong emphasis on practical business and management skills. It was an ideal choice for me, as I am already working in an administrative role, and the programme has allowed me to build a solid foundation in business administration and leadership. I pursued my ABE course at CTS College of Business and Computer Science.
Generally, I believe that people in Trinidad hold ABE in high regard.
I currently have a few remaining units to complete in the ABE programme, after which I intend to pursue a degree in Business Administration.
The best aspect of studying with ABE is its flexibility; the programme can be completed at a pace that suits your lifestyle. Through my studies, I have developed a range of valuable skills that have significantly enhanced both my professional capabilities and personal growth. These include critical thinking and problem-solving, effective communication and time management.
To anyone studying with ABE, I would say that success depends on applying oneself, taking advice and feedback from lecturers, and remaining fully committed and focused, as time can pass quickly. My future plans include completing the ABE programme, advancing to a degree, and eventually pursuing a Master’s. I am hopeful that I can continue to grow within my current organisation.''
