May Chan Mrae Kyaw says that she was able to secure her current position because of her ABE professional qualification and the global recognition that comes with it. Read her full story below:

I have always been willing to study something new that is completely dissimilar from my typical learning journey. This encouraged me to join ABE because of its unique assignment and OBE-based assessment. It was the perfect opportunity to widen my scope of knowledge in business management through research skills and time management. I first recognised the program through one of the ABE-accredited centres in Myanmar, BIY (Business Institute Yangon), which has been recommended by close friends and senior students for its strong reputation and popularity.

As a newcomer, in the beginning, I was discouraged about my ability to adapt and excel in a dynamic, innovative business environment. However, along with ABE’s flexible modules, supported by a study guide, BIY families including mentors, staff, and peers, provided me the guidance to get through this.

After completing level 5, I became able to apply my strategic understanding of critical decision-making and other management principles, even in my day-to-day life activities.

Additionally, ABE professional qualification and international recognition allowed me to secure my position and offer a faster route onto Bachelors and Masters degree courses.

Thus, if I were in a position to motivate current and future ABE learners, especially the ones who have never had experience in the field like me, my advice is that you can never know your potential until you try. With all the hard work and commitment, followed by valuable insight from lecturers and the ABE community, it is possible to grow within and outside.
