ABE 120 credit Diploma qualifications have been granted accreditation by the Zambia Qualification Authority (ZAQA). They will sit on the ZAQA Qualification Framework at Levels 4-6.
The qualifications included in the accreditation are::
- ABE Level 4 Diploma in Business Management
- ABE Level 4 Diploma in Business Management and Human Resources
- ABE Level 4 Diploma in Business Management and Marketing
- ABE Level 5 Diploma in Business Management
- ABE Level 5 Diploma in Business Management and Human Resources
- ABE Level 5 Diploma in Business Management and Marketing
- ABE Level 6 Diploma in Business Management
- ABE Level 6 Diploma in Business Management and Human Resources
- ABE Level 6 Diploma in Business Management and Marketing
Please note that the Level 4 Foundation Diploma in Business Management has not been accredited for delivery in Zambia.
Entry Requirements
Part of the accreditation includes qualification entry requirements at each Level that specifically apply to Zambia-based learners. These are as follows:
- Level 4 - Senior Secondary Education Certificate (ordinary level) which is at ZQF Level 2B.
- Level 5 - Senior Secondary Education Certificate (ordinary level) which is at ZQF Level 2B and either
- i. a pass in any ABE Level 4 Diploma from the list of accredited Level 4 qualifications
- or ii. an equivalent Level 4 qualification of similar credit value or greater awarded by a recognised local or internationally based awarding organisation.
- Level 6 - Senior Secondary Education Certificate (ordinary level) which is at ZQF Level 2B and either
- i. a pass in any ABE Diploma at Levels 4 and 5 from the list of accredited qualifications
- or ii. equivalent Level 4 and 5 qualifications of similar credit value or greater awarded by a recognised local or internationally based awarding organisation.
Centres may also undertake accreditation of prior learning, and accreditation of prior experiential learning using the ABE Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) Policy for those learners who have been in the workforce and wish to upskill.
