ABE is proud to announce the launch of two new qualifications designed to help learners develop the professional, leadership and organisational skills needed to succeed in today’s fast-changing world of work.

The new qualifications are:

  • ABE Level 4 Certificate in Project Management in Organisations
  • ABE Level 6 Certificate in Advanced Project Management in Organisations
Why we're offering Project Management qualifications

Project management skills are increasingly valued by employers across every sector, from business and finance to technology, healthcare, construction and the creative industries. As organisations continue to adapt to digital transformation, AI and global change, the ability to lead projects successfully has never been more important.

The benefits of ABE Project Management

The new qualifications provide learners with the opportunity to focus specifically on project management and develop practical skills in planning, leadership, communication, problem-solving and delivering results.

The Level 4 Certificate is ideal for learners beginning their project management journey or looking to strengthen their professional skills within a workplace setting. The Level 6 Certificate is aimed at learners ready to develop more advanced strategic, leadership and organisational project management expertise.

Importantly, project management is already embedded within ABE’s wider diploma programmes, meaning learners studying ABE business and management qualifications also benefit from developing project leadership capabilities as part of their broader professional education. These new standalone certificates now provide an additional pathway for learners, employers and training providers seeking a more specialised focus on project management skills.

Research from the World Economic Forum identifies leadership, analytical thinking, resilience and problem-solving among the most important future workplace skills — all core areas developed through project management education. It is predicted that millions of additional project professionals will be needed globally over the next decade.

Whether learners are looking to progress into management roles, strengthen their employability, increase their earning potential or develop the confidence to lead organisational change, ABE’s new project management qualifications provide practical, career-focused learning with real-world relevance.

Assessments for the new Project Management in Organisations qualifications will be available from 1st August 2026.  Students taking Project Management as part of an ABE Diploma should take the unit assessment.
