Abigail expresses that her experience studying ABE at CTS was challenging but ultimately rewarding. She also encourages future students to pursue their dreams and never give up. Read her full story below:
‘’Firstly, I would like to say ‘Thank You’ to all those who supported, advised, and guided me. That show of confidence impacted my journey immensely and I would forever be grateful for the time taken to ensure I was succeeding in my studies. Praise to the most high, God, where without his blessings nothing is impossible. I implore you to always put your trust in him.
This journey was definitely challenging, however, with hard work and dedication comes great success. Honestly, in the beginning, I became despondent, and continuing the programme was not an option for me. I thought to myself, “What good would this do for my future plans and the impact it will have on those people around me?”. One thing I have always heard or been told is to never give up. I understand there will be challenges along the way, but the rewards are always greater in the end. A lot of time, energy, and sleepless nights were sacrificed while completing this assessment, however, given the opportunity I would do it all again if these are the results gained. Being focused, also while having a great support system is essential for one’s personal development which encourages motivation and self-discipline.
Despite the challenges encountered, I prospered and achieved the Top Paper Award along with one of my peers for the Dynamic Business Environments module. I am very proud of myself and my accomplishments thus far and cannot wait to see where and how I can best further myself to achieve greater success.
My decision on choosing CTS College of Business and Computer Science as the institution where I advance my studies was a very effortless and trouble-free process from the start. They were extremely accommodating and understanding. I am immensely grateful and thankful to the entire team and to the lecturers, which includes Mr. Arnold Ramjitsingh. The lecturers did a wonderful and exceptional job of ensuring the course material was detailed and beneficial whilst writing the assessment.
To any future students, I can vouch that CTS College of Business and Computer Science is the way to go, and to never give up hope on your dreams as there is always light at the end of a dark tunnel.’’
