''My name is Candasy Kam, and I have successfully completed the Level 4 Foundation Diploma ABE qualification in Business Management. I am from Guyana, a small country in South America. I was born and raised in Queenstown Village, on the Essequibo Coast. I attended Queenstown Primary and completed my secondary education at Anna Regina Secondary School. My educational journey has been driven by a passion for business and self-development. Before enrolling in ABE, I had some work experience and a strong interest in furthering my education to build a successful career in the corporate world.

I chose to study ABE because of its international credibility, flexible structure, and the real-world application of its courses. I was able to study online, which made it easier for me because I got to work during the day and still be able to study in the evening after coming home from work. The programme allowed me to balance my studies with other responsibilities, and I appreciated how well the modules prepared me for professional life. The ABE curriculum is designed not only to teach but also to empower students with the tools needed to thrive in today’s dynamic business environment. Studying ABE has been extremely helpful to me since it has enabled me to gain more knowledge about each business subject.

In addition, I pursued my ABE course at Nations School of Business & Management in Guyana, where I was supported by knowledgeable tutors and a motivated peer group. The learning environment was inspiring, and the resources provided helped me to stay on track and achieve my goals. In Guyana, ABE qualifications are becoming more widely known and respected. Employers recognise the value of ABE because it prepares graduates to contribute in the workplace immediately. There is a growing appreciation for how the programme blends academic theory with real-world application.

Moreover, now that I have completed my ABE qualification, my immediate goal is to enter the business field. I am looking forward to starting my own business and trying to improve in my work and gain a higher position in my job. In the near future, I also hope to continue my studies by pursuing a Bachelors degree.

The best thing about studying with ABE was how it helped me grow personally and professionally. I became more confident, independent, and capable of handling complex business concepts. The knowledge I gained is something I can apply in my job or any job.

Throughout the programme, I developed essential skills such as leadership, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork. These skills have already been useful in my old and current jobs and will continue to help me throughout my career. One tip I would give to other ABE students is to manage your time wisely and stay consistent. Do not wait until the last minute to study. Start early, ask questions, and make use of all the resources ABE has to offer. Your hard work will definitely pay off in the end.

My long-term goal is to become a successful business professional or entrepreneur. I want to make a positive impact in Guyana by contributing to the local economy and creating opportunities for others. ABE has helped set the foundation for that dream, and I am excited to keep building on it.''
