''Studying ABE has helped me develop strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. I have also improved in teamwork, leadership, and time management, which are very useful for my future career.''

Htet Yati Oo from Myanmar is currently an HR Executive at a construction company in Singapore. She chose ABE for its flexibility, which allows her to balance full-time work with her studies. Through ABE, she has strengthened her analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, while gaining practical business knowledge. Read her full story below:

''My name is Htet Yati Oo, from Myanmar, currently working as an HR Executive at a construction company in Singapore. I graduated with a BA in English. However, after my internship programme ended at Luther Corporate Service, I realised that I am interested in payroll calculation, the employment laws and employee engagement. Therefore, I started my career journey from there. Now I am fully trained and have over 6+ years of experience in HR management.

As I am working, I do not usually have time to study full-time. ABE is one of the best choices for those who like to work and study at the same time.

The public and employers' impression of ABE is quite positive in Myanmar.

After completing my current ABE qualification, I may start a Master degree so my career journey can progress from Senior Executive to Assistant Manager.

The best thing about studying with ABE is the group discussions. I like to brainstorm, and I like to research and read a lot of business-related books
and prepare for the assignment.

Studying ABE has helped me develop strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. I have also improved in teamwork, leadership, and time management, which are very useful for my future career.

My tips for a successful study is to read a lot of books, research a lot of facts and think like “if I were part of the top management, what I would do for this organisation?”

My long-term goal is to do my own business in the F&B industry. I would like to open different types of restaurants, such as luxury restaurants, traditional-food restaurants and tea shops.''
