Julie chose to do an ABE qualification to help her progress in her career and create a better future for her family, she says, "With the affordable and flexible programmes offered at CTS College as well as their knowledgeable and hardworking staff, I am certainly equipped and capable of achieving my goals". Here's her story:
"I am 33 years old and have been employed with MIC Institute of Technology in Trinidad and Tobago for more than 15 years. I currently hold the position of Secretary III at the firm and look forward to moving up the ranks in the near future.
With the affordable and flexible programs offered at CTS College as well as their knowledgeable and hardworking staff, I am certainly equipped and capable of achieving my goals. The ABE Top Paper Award in Innovation & Business Performance is my first step into a successful and a prosperous educational journey. I have been trying to improve and educate myself with the intention of creating a strong foundation for a better future for my family and myself whilst working in the professional service industry. I look forward with hope and wonder as to what I can accomplish during my academic time at ABE. Never in my wildest dreams I would have thought that I would receive such a prestigious award.
All thanks to the administrative team and lecturers who continue to improve their performance and their caring approach to their students. I could not have done it without my CTS College lecturers and ABE’s approach to learning via assessment and assignment. Which allowed me to comfortably, obtain my qualification without having panic attacks or becoming flustered. Due to my ABE studies, I am able to interact and share information with my colleagues at a more professional and more business-oriented level resulting in an increase in interpersonal skills as well as viewing my job and personal life in a new light.
I look forward to completing my academic term with ABE whilst striving for success starting with this Top Paper Award."
