Customer Operations Specialist, Lou-Anne, choose ABE to help her long-term ambition to gain a degree. She says,
"I’m from Trinidad & Tobago. My family includes both parents and I’m the middle of 2 siblings. I’ve always loved learning about how a business works, thus, I selected the Business Management course to study. I’m currently employed at Digicel Company Limited T&T.
I selected the ABE course to begin my journey to obtaining my degree. Upon review, the courses included in Levels 4 and 5 are a great stepping stone to earning my Business Administration Degree. I’ve been able to learn and apply skills to my workplace in Customer Service. Now more than before, the public is becoming more aware of ABE and what skills it offers.
Ideally, my plans would be to obtain a better job surrounding my degree to gain experience and grow within my current place of employment.
I absolutely loved the flexibility of doing my courses in my own timing with the option of doing as much as I choose and I’ve gained the skill of understanding consumers' wants and needs and recognising how the world is becoming more innovative. My application of this skill has made me excel among my peers. I'd advise following all the instructions and guidance given by ABE and your lecturer. It can be overwhelming so don’t bite off more than you can swallow, and everything will go as planned. You are in control of your education.
The end goal is to begin the journey of starting my own business. After completing my degree, I’d like to be promoted in the company I currently work with and continue being a part of a dynamic team."
