''I joined Afro-Egypt Engineering Ltd in November 2022 and my current position is Energy Desk Manager. I oversee fuel management in telecommunication towers. My main roles are overseeing monthly and daily planning, controlling usage, and managing a team of 50 personnel in fuel and grid unit management.
My career started as a Secretary and in 2009, I enrolled for a course in Business Management. I obtained a diploma in December 2009 and my supervisor advised me to start looking for jobs that could match my qualifications. Luckily enough, in November 2010 after obtaining Diploma 2, I found two jobs in reputable organisations and that was the change of my career path. I have worked in highly reputable non-governmental organisations both local and international. I am able to stand up in high-profile meetings with the confidence I gained in obtaining my qualifications with ABE
I enrolled for a Bachelors degree in Business Administration in 2014 with Cyprus Institute of Marketing and they exempted me for three years as they said the ABE qualifications I have are equivalent to the three years of university education. I am still furthering my studies for Masters in Guidance and Counselling which I am finalising in 2024. It has been a beautiful journey.
My job is so challenging, I love the pressure and that keeps me going and thinking outside the box. Running the telecommunication network and being the team leader is never a child’s play.
