''I chose the ABE programme as an alternative to A Levels because it offers a unique opportunity to earn an internationally recognised qualification in business management while allowing me to study at my own pace. Pursuing this programme has equipped me with skills in entrepreneurship, leadership, project management, financial analysis, and marketing, skills that are invaluable not only for further academic pursuits but also for success in the professional world.''

''My name is Sarah Maharaj-Dean, and I’m from Arima, Trinidad and Tobago. I come from a family that values education. My mother is an attorney-at-law, and my father is a mechanical engineer with a master’s in marine surveying. After graduating from Bishop Anstey High School East and gaining some work experience, I began my journey with ABE.

I am currently pursuing ABE Level 5 in Business Management with a focus on Marketing at SBCS Global Learning Institute. I chose the ABE programme as an alternative to A Levels because it offers a unique opportunity to earn an internationally recognised qualification in business management while allowing me to study at my own pace. The curriculum is both comprehensive and practical, equipping me with essential skills and real-world knowledge that extend beyond the classroom.

What drew me to ABE was its flexibility and its strong emphasis on entrepreneurship, leadership, and management, key areas that align with my personal and professional aspirations. I recognised early on that this qualification could serve as a gateway to a wide range of tertiary education opportunities, making it an ideal foundation for future growth and success.

Pursuing this programme has equipped me with skills in entrepreneurship, leadership, project management, financial analysis, and marketing, skills that are invaluable not only for further academic pursuits but also for success in the professional world.

One piece of advice I always carry with me, as my mother wisely said: “Everything you need is in the textbook. Read!” This simple yet powerful reminder continues to guide my approach to learning and personal growth.

My academic journey is still unfolding, and the ABE qualification has played a pivotal role in laying the groundwork for my pursuit of a Law degree, even as I continue to complete the ABE Level 5.''
