The best thing about studying with ABE is that it is affordable, flexible, and highly accredited.  The modules are tailored in a way that is easy to understand by its students and prepares them for their assignments and examination.

Monica chose ABE because it's recognised by her employer and also internationally.  Her long-term ambitions are to go onto an MBA and travel.  Here's her story,

"I was born in beautiful Guyana, the land of many waters.  I am married with two handsome boys and I am currently employed at Guyana Water Inc for the past ten (10) years, the only sole provider of potable water in the country. I choose to study ABE since it is more advanced and internationally recognised and it's ideal for a person like myself that has an interest in travelling with intentions to migrate.

I wanted to study my ABE course at Accounting Training Centre, Guyana. The tutor Mr Nico McAdam was very clear and precise in how he taught.  It was challenging at first due to the pandemic and online teaching, but he makes it comfortable for his students. ABE qualifications are highly recognised by companies in my country and by my employer. Some of my colleagues at work are currently pursuing ABE.

My immediate plans after I complete my current ABE qualification are to move on to Level 5 Business Management to complete my Diploma. Then I will move on to the degree level.

The best thing about studying with ABE is that it is affordable, flexible, and highly accredited.  The modules are tailored in a way that is easy to understand by its students and prepares them for their assignments and examination.

The experience thus far is very rewarding I have gained so much knowledge since studying with ABE.  It developed my level of thinking and the way I do my daily duties at work.  It also taught me how I should communicate with peers and managers.

My studies come with a lot of challenges since I’m a wife and also a mother.  It takes sacrifices, perseverance, and God to take me where I’m today.  My advice to current and new students is that you will need God and perseverance in your life to be successful.

I intend to finish levels 5 and 6 in Business Management and move on to my Masters in Business Administration where I see myself a couple of years from now, working as a manager in a well-established company."
