ABE Level 6 Diplomas all streams (RQF only)
Students who have passed all their Level 6 modules will be eligible to apply on an individual basis for entry to the Masters Foundation Programme (MFP). The MFP is available as a two or three-term programme, with progression to a wide range of Masters degrees at the University of London College partners, or other suitable universities in the UK.
ABE Level 5 Diplomas all streams (RQF only)
Students who have passed all their Level 5 modules will be eligible to apply on an individual basis for entry to the Graduate Diploma course. The Graduate Diploma course a standalone qualification for postgraduate study in finance and management. It is available as a three or four term programme, to prepare students with a thorough grounding in the principles of the subject and will develop critical skills for a wide range of real world professional situations. Potential progression options available to a Masters degree at the University of London College partners, or other suitable universities in the UK.
Level 3 Business Essentials and Level 4 Foundation Diploma in Business Management
Students who have passed all the above ABE Level 3 and 4 modules will be eligible to apply on an individual basis for entry to the International Year One (IY1) course. The IY1 is a one-year programme that offers successful students guaranteed progression* to Year 2 of a range of business-related undergraduate degrees at Birkbeck, University of London:
- BSc (Hons) Accounting
- BA (Hons) Accounting and Management
- BSc (Hons) Accounting and Management with Finance
- BSc (Hons) Business
- BA (Hons) Management
- BSc (Hons) Marketing

Benefits
The IY1 programme is designed for international students who do not quite have the academic grades and/or English level to start the first year of an undergraduate degree in the UK. All students who achieve the required mark for progression are guaranteed progression to Year 2 of a selection of business-related undergraduate degrees at Birkbeck. This programme is set at level 4, and is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate business degree in the UK.
The Graduate Diploma programme is for graduates of business disciplines who want to secure a stand-alone qualification to enter postgraduate studies in Finance and Management.
The MFP is designed to prepare international students for postgraduate study in the UK. It will allow students to improve their English while learning the study skills and research methods that they will need during their Masters degree studies.

ABE Level 5 Diploma in Business Management
This qualification develops a strategic understanding of business management principles and practical application.
ABE Level 5 Diploma in Business Management and Human Resources
Level 5 means the same level as the year two of a Bachelors degree. This qualification develops a strategic understanding of both contemporary business management and human resources.
ABE Level 5 Diploma in Business Management and Marketing
Level 5 means the same level of difficulty as year two of a Bachelors degree. Our qualification develops understanding of contemporary business management strategy combined with the knowledge required of a highly skilled marketing professional.
ABE Level 4 Foundation Diploma in Business Management
Level 4 means the same level of difficulty as year one of a Bachelors degree. This shorter Foundation Diploma in Business Management provides a good general grounding in the core aspects of business.
ABE Level 3 Certificate in Business Essentials
