The Open University of Mauritius has confirmed it offers the following progression opportunities to ABE qualification holders. Please apply through the University's usual admissions procedure.
ABE Level 6 Diplomas (RQF syllabus)
Holders of any ABE Level 6 120 credit Diploma will be eligible for direct entry onto the following University programmes:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) General
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) with specialisation in Financial Services / Marketing Management / Human Resource Management / Educational Leadership / Project Management
Candidates would be expected to also hold an ABE Level 4 120 credit Diploma and an ABE Level 5 120 credit Diploma. Entry onto MBA programmes is subject to approval of the Admission Committee of OU based on relevant working experience.
ABE Diplomas must be awarded within the last seven years to be eligible for admission on OU programmes.
ABE Level 5 Diplomas (RQF syllabus)
Holders of any ABE Level 5 120 credit Diploma will be eligible for direct entry onto the following University programme:
- BSc Management Top-Up (three semesters)
Candidates would be expected to also hold an ABE Level 4 120 credit Diploma.
ABE Diplomas must be awarded within the last seven years to be eligible for admission on OU programmes.

ABE Level 6 Diploma in Business Management
This qualification develops the theoretical knowledge and strategic skillset you need to excel in a business management leadership role.
ABE Level 6 Diploma in Business Management and Human Resources
Level 6 means the same level of difficulty as the final year of a Bachelors degree. Develop a critical strategic understanding of contemporary management and the skill set to be a senior HR professional.
ABE Level 6 Diploma in Business Management and Marketing
Level 6 means the same level of difficulty as the final year of a Bachelors degree. Our qualification develops a strategic understanding of contemporary business management and the skill set you need as a senior marketing professional.
ABE Level 5 Diploma in Business Management
This qualification develops a strategic understanding of business management principles and practical application.
ABE Level 5 Diploma in Business Management and Human Resources
Level 5 means the same level as the year two of a Bachelors degree. This qualification develops a strategic understanding of both contemporary business management and human resources.
ABE Level 5 Diploma in Business Management and Marketing
Level 5 means the same level of difficulty as year two of a Bachelors degree. Our qualification develops understanding of contemporary business management strategy combined with the knowledge required of a highly skilled marketing professional.
