Announcing the first educator in Vietnam to offer KidsMBA

Launch

ABE is delighted to announce that children in Vietnam will have the opportunity to access ABE Endorsed KidsMBA – a unique and innovative entrepreneurship programme for young people.

Newton Grammar School has confirmed it will start offering the programme to its years 6 and 7 and run it alongside its Cambridge International assessments as part of its international English curriculum. The School’s ethos is to develop its students as global citizens who can become tomorrow’s leaders and KidsMBA fits perfectly with this mission as, alongside an entrepreneurial mindset, it develops confidence, persuasive speaking, teamwork skills and leadership.

The global citizenship aspect of Newton Grammar School’s mission is also enhanced by the international Future Entrepreneur competition, which all schools around the world offering KidsMBA can take part in.  This year the winner was in Myanmar with runners up from the UK.

Talking about the agreement at a spectacular opening ceremony in Vietnam, ABE Chief Executive, Rob May said, “To equip young people for the fast-changing world of the future, schools need to go beyond offering traditional subjects. Providing an enterprise-focused education from the start of secondary school, helps children become more adaptable, apply knowledge in different contexts and recognise opportunities. These skills will help children navigate tomorrow’s world and I am thrilled that Newton Grammar School will be providing children in Vietnam with the opportunity to benefit from this programme.”
