I'm Sai Phone Shan, and I'm currently based in Kyingdon, Shan State, Myanmar, where I work as the Operations Manager at Amitta Hotel. My academic journey began in Pyin Oo Lwin, where I successfully passed the matriculation exam in 2012 at Sar Pan Aein Private High School. I completed the NCC Education Level 4 and Level 5 Diplomas in Computing at IBCT (International Business and Computer and Technology) Mandalay, and I also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the VU School of Management Switzerland, which I completed at AIM International College Mandalay.
I chose ABE because it offers an accelerated pathway to academic progression, professional growth and flexible study options. ABE is also globally recognised, and theories are based on real cases of organisations.
In my country, ABE qualifications are highly respected by employers as they prepare students to be competent and work-ready professionals with strong management capabilities.
My future plans are to bridge leadership, first as a manager to guide business strategy and improve training systems, and to influence high-level business decisions to enhance organisational efficiency.
The best thing about ABE is that it's distinguished by its practical, hands-on methodology, which utilises authentic business case studies to facilitate the direct application of theoretical knowledge in professional settings.
By studying with ABE, I have acquired critical business proficiencies, notably in areas such as strategic planning and leadership, which have been successfully implemented within my current workplace.
My practical advice for a successful study is centred on engagement and application:
- Consistency: Consistently attend lectures and commit to learning.
- Guidance: Follow the guidelines and instructions provided by teachers.
- Participation: Actively participate in class discussions.
- Application: Apply theoretical knowledge to real business cases for better retention and practical mastery.
My long-term professional objective is to transition into the role of a small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) business owner, with the specific aim of facilitating the expansion of local branded businesses into the global market.
