''I am a mom to two amazing boys who are my source of encouragement and motivation. I chose ABE because it aligns with my career path and provides the foundation that promotes success.''

Sadia is a mother of two and says her experience with ABE has been challenging but rewarding. She now works as a Human Resource Generalist. Here is her full story:

''I am a mom to two amazing boys who are my source of encouragement and motivation.

I presently reside in the United States of America and employed at the New York City Health and Hospitals, Central Office as a Human Resource Generalist.

I pursued the Business and Human Resource Management program at the National Research and Development Centre (NRDF) because it is one of the top accredited professional bodies in St. Lucia and most importantly, I wanted to be equipped with the required skill sets and knowledge needed to be successful in my role as the Human Resource Officer and to be more competitive.  Additionally, ABE offers a framework that could have been tailored to the demanding nature of my personal and professional lifestyle.

I have gained a deeper and broader understanding of the business environment from a global context and have been able to apply and introduce various concepts in the work environment.

I intend to transfer my credits to a university where I pursue a college degree in Human Resource Management.

My experience thus far with ABE has been challenging especially when balancing work, family, and my studies but has also been very rewarding. I chose ABE because it aligns with my career path and provides the foundation that promotes success.  My advice for a successful ABE journey is to believe in oneself and remember to decide, commit, and succeed.

PS: Special thanks to my tutor, Mrs. Bernadette Thomas for her support in Developing International Markets.''
