''I am Esther Satekla Esinam from Ghana, West Africa. I am the seventh child to my parents, Mr. Gershon Kwabla Satekla and Catherine Aku Satekla from the Volta Region of Ghana. After a successful basic level education, I progressed to Tema Senior High School where I completed my secondary education. I attended Pentecost University where I earned my Diploma in Human Resource Management with the assistance of ABE. Along with my studies, I had the opportunity to work with Priority Insurance on an internship.

I chose to study with ABE because the approach to teaching and learning helps to develop and build the skill set you need for employment in this field. It is also a fast route to MBA and a qualification that is recognised worldwide.

I studied at Pentecost University Ghana, the biggest centre in West Africa.

ABE is highly regarded by a lot of employers and the public, except that in some instances some employers have not heard about the programme. It is recognised as the leading provider of high-quality professional business education, and its programmes are designed to provide students with practical skills that can be applied in the workplace. In Ghana, many graduates of ABE have a successful career in a wide range of industries and practices. ABE graduates are known for their professionalism, strong work ethic, and ability to think critically. Studying with ABE has helped me with critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, practical skills, and leadership drive.

My immediate plan is to first complete my one-year mandatory national service and further pursue a Masters degree in Human Resource Management, and start my own HR consultancy business.

It is flexible, you can study at your own pace and write as many sets of papers as you can towards completing a qualification within a given predetermined time frame.

I wasn’t good at public speaking, but through presentations, group tasks, and assignments I have developed the skill as well as my presentation skills. I have also sharpened my research and analytical skills. I am more results-oriented and focus on solving problems and not just identifying them.

My tips for a successful study are:

Stay organised: Make a schedule for your studies and stick to it. This will help you stay on track and ensure that you are making progress.

Stay motivated: Set goals for yourself and remind yourself why you are studying. This will help you stay motivated and focused on your studies.

Collaborating with others: Studying with classmates or joining a study group. This can help you stay motivated, accountable and provide you with additional insights and perspectives on the study material.

Asking for help: Don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it. Your instructors, classmates, and tutors are there to support you and help you succeed.''
